European Marketing & Communication Group

The European Marketing and Communication (EMAC) Group was established in 2016. The main ambition of this young Yourope platform is to provide time, space and motivation to meet, import and share new knowledge in all relevant areas of festival marketing. Our four main areas of interest are:

  • Sponsorship
  • Marketing and product development
  • Communication and broadcasting
  • Ticketing

The Group hosts workshops, panels and seminars with the aim to create a more efficient and professional marketing and communication environment in the festival sector. Each year EMAC presents the Brand Activation Award at the European Festival Awards, applauding a festival and a sponsor together for their remarkable cooperation. January 2019 saw the Group organizing its 2nd European Festival Marketing Seminar, a highly successful event, hosted by Eurosonic. In November 2019 EMAC also helped the organization of the 3rd European Festival Conference. 

In 2020 EMAC will keep on searching for cooperation possibilities with conferences and other industry events, while also organizing the 3rd European Festival Marketing Seminar.
