05 September – 06 September 2020
Lollapalloza Berlin kicked off in 2015 with a lot of noise and sun, claiming a new ground in one of the greatest cities in the world. Each year, the German festival fuses tons of international and nationally known acts together for 2 days of incredible music and fun-loving fans. After its sold out premiere at the former Tempelhof Airport in 2015, Lolla Berlin, which won ‘Best New Festival’ at the European Festival Awards, will move to Treptower Park in 2016, right next to the Spree in the heart of Berlin. Despite the change of location, Lollapalooza Berlin will stay true to its genre-spanning philosophy, presenting a hard-to-match lineup in the German capital. In addition to the festival’s music highlights, youngsters and teens will be entertained at Kidzapalooza, while adults will venture to the Lolla Fun Fair for artistry, urban art, circus performances and loads of hand made art installations as part of LollArt. As one of the city’s green oases, festival-goers can also wander around our sustainable venue the Grüner Kiez (‘Green Neighbourhood’) and learn about sustainability, social responsibility and ecological thinking.
