Additional note: Taksirat Festival started 11 years ago with the purpose of bringing together all Ex-Yu bands into one performing place, which was quite incredible in that time. From then on, Taksirat, which was originally created to gather 100 people at one gig, became a festival that lasted 7 days and attracted over 15,000 people. The whole festival lasts for one week and is located in different cultural locations in Skopje over the 7 days. The content varies from year to year. Besides the music program, the festival is usually enriched with off programs like: performances, films, theatre plays, NGO campaigns. The festival public engagement could be seen by initiating and promoting social campaigns like: No pistols, Macedonia without Visa, Be Volunteer, Mobility of students, Stop Aids The Festival agenda is to promote positive values between the youth population.
