c/o pop Convention - international business forum for the creative industries
c/o pop - the Pop Culture 2.0 Convention is directed at anyone involved in planning and shaping the future of music. Its relevance extends to other sectors beyond the music business in the classic sense, for as the name suggests, this Convention stands for progress and change.
As a cross-sector network and communication platform, c/o pop brings the protagonists of the creative industries together with companies from the music and entertainment sectors and provides them with a forum for intensive dialogue and exchange.
The c/o pop Convention programme is dedicated to the far-reaching change that is currently rocking all areas of the creative industries. A conscious decision has been taken to focus on music, but music as a work of art, a cultural asset, a product and a service, content, an add-on, a cross-media tool, an innovation driver and pacemaker in technological and societal development, and, not least, music as a lifestyle and attitude.
The concept ensures that account is taken of the whole multi-facetted spectrum of music and pop culture and that it is explored from various perspectives. We tell stories from the world of mash ups, of new technologies and applications, of a day in the life of TV, now and in the future, and of games and brands, education and society.
As a think tank for the creative industry, c/o pop offers, in the form of discussions and talks, workshops and presentations and over 20 panels, the perfect conditions for a cross-sector exchange of new ideas and perspectives.
