Description:
Fiesta des Suds is a urban festival which takes place in October, after all summer festivals, to open the winter season. It is located since the begining in port buildings which give this special atmosphere and allow all the public (age, origin, cultural community) to come, as it is a patrimonial place. "Fiesta" means a mix of festival, with a "south" program, and feast, with different bars (bodega, caribean, café), dance floors, discotheque, art exhibition, restaurant from 7pm to 4 am the day after. In 2008 the Fiesta des Suds has received, during 7 nights, 48 groups, 427 musicians, 9 hip-hop companies, 29 DJ's representing 19 countries, 7 art exhibitions and a fireworks display.
