CODE OF YOUROPE To form Yourope to a strong Association in the European Music Industry and to gain more members, every member has several duties of care besides paying the yearly membership fee. These are the following: 1. Representation Including the activities and news of Yourope in media mailings of every member and if necessary, distributing whole press releases coming from the Yourope office in your country. Every member is supposed to use The logo of "Yourope” or "Member of Yourope" when adequate, on all posters, flyers, magazines, homepages, letter papers, fax layouts. 2. Feedback If the Yourope office or board asks for assistance in any matters, feedback about important issues, etc., it is the duty of every member to give a answer within the timeframe given. Without the opinion of the members, the office and board of Yourope can't represent! 3. Working Groups To work on certain issues, the board will form working groups consisting of board or regular members. Every member has his specific knowledge about certain issues which can be useful for all the members of Yourope. Think Yourope! 4. Attendance It is the idea of having a very limited amount of members meeting. Besides the General Assembly in London (before the ILMC), it is the plan to meet at least one more time during the year. To make these meetings useful for all members, everybody should try to attend these meetings. As members are not individuals but festival events, members are supposed to send a representant (except for board meetings) or advise the reasons for the absence in writing well advanced. Yourope will try to arrange meetings which are limited in days and time to reduce the needed attendance time. Every member should arrange that you are present in this limited period. 5. Organisation Yourope must be a pro-active organisation. We do work with personal responsibilities and members taking lead on different topics and working-groups. This kind of organisation is taking lead and makes progress. YOUROPE represents a unity, but we only can win and reach goals as a unity and this takes the strength of every member! |
